I'd like a fourth film featuring this character as well as Bruce Wayne. I think that since Batman is more or less a Symbol in these movies, Blake would take up the Bat-Cowl. However, his lack of training via the League of Shadows makes him inexperienced and more or less fails as The Batman.

Then when and if Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham and the need to become The Batman again, then Blake would take the opportunity to become his own Symbol. The Nightwing.

Though I wonder....
Maybe he could use some sort of helmet, like Jason´s Red Robin costume, since he has no protection in his head, or something. *Shrug*
But I dig those shades.
